B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from PUCP (2000), and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2005 and 2009, respectively). Full professor in the Engineering Department at PUCP.

Andres Coila

Full-time professor

Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is a full-time professor in the Electricity and Electronics Section at PUCP. With a master’s in Digital Signal and Image Processing from PUCP, his research focuses on diagnostic methods using nonlinear ultrasound. Interests include quantitative ultrasound, ultrasonic tomography, and optimization algorithms.

Stefano Romero

Full-time professor

Ph.D. in Engineering, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He is a full-time professor at PUCP, with his graduate research focusing on elastography and quantitative ultrasound techniques for in vivo applications. His research interests include elastography.
